Apple Business Connect
Apple Business Connect is the free dashboard where you manage your Apple Maps listing. When an iPhone user asks Siri or opens Maps, the information they see comes from here — not from Google.

Why
Why this is separate work: Apple does not use Google's data
Almost all local SEO work revolves around Google Business Profile, and that is largely right. But Apple Maps is an independent database: a correction you make in Google does not reach Apple. The result is a business that looks fine on Google and shows as closed — or carries an old phone number — on Apple Maps. In high-end phone markets (US, UK, Australia) the iPhone share is not small, and sending all of that traffic to a stale record is a quiet loss.
Steps
How to get listed
- 1
Register at businessconnect.apple.com with an Apple account. Creating a separate Apple account for the company keeps access from walking out with a staff member.
- 2
Search for your business. Apple Maps may already hold a record — in that case you CLAIM the existing listing rather than creating a new one.
- 3
Verify ownership: Apple generally asks for a call to the listed number or a document upload.
- 4
Once approved, add Showcases. These are the visual cards that appear on the map listing — a promotion, a menu, a new product.
Watch out: duplicating a listing that already exists
Apple Maps already knows most businesses from third-party data providers. If you go straight to "add a new business" without searching, you create a second record and the two compete with each other. Merging a duplicate afterwards takes far longer than claiming it in the first place. Search first; claim what you find.
